[GGR117] Whats On Earth Jiayi Zhou #997822584 Field pip 2 Liveable Cities Introduction On this case trip, we be going to check into four neighborhood along Danforth Ave from Broadview Ave to Greenwood Ave in downtown Toronto. The draw a bead on of the field trip activity is to hear what a inhabitable urban center should take into consideration for the need of its residence. A livable city should have a mixed- spend neighborhood which provides affordable housing, unstrained access to all kinds services and recreation facilities that people tin can socialize, interact with the community. We will submit how to use these indicators to measure the livability of the neighborhood, and determine what improvement can be made to m ake the neighborhood more suitable to its community. methodological analysis We use nine indicators to analyze the livability, including: mixed-use development, density, public transit, active transit, street recycling, unglamourous safety and accessible services. We make observations according to the descriptions on the claim of the indicators and rate each indicators reflect the character of the wide neighbourhood. because we add up the scores for the location, which represent score of the livability of the neighborhood.
